At Meri the Label, our purpose is to redefine sun safe clothing. We believe that sun protection shouldn’t mean sacrificing style. Our mission is to make sun safe clothing for children to play freely, comfortably, and safely, all whilst learning the importance of sun safety from an early age.
Our Story
As a mother to 3 young children myself, I know the challenge of keeping little ones protected under the harsh Australian sun. As a North Queenslander, I know that sun safety is not just important, it’s essential. For years, I struggled to find sun-safe children's clothing that was more than just the traditional fishing shirt. I wanted something different — shirts that were stylish, versatile, and so comfortable that children actually wanted to wear them.
That’s why I created Meri the Label. Our UPF 50+ rated long-sleeve rompers and shirts are designed for children aged 3 months to 8 years, offering maximum sun protection without compromising on style or comfort.
